Rolf Zero is a progressive rock Studio project formed in Brisbane, Australia in 1998, Rolf Zero emerged as an amateur instrumental garage band comprising Cris Van Anderson on guitars and keyboards, Cecu Pauta on drums, and Dani Leero on bass. They have released several albums, exploring sounds from 70s prog rock to medieval, space, and symphonic atmospheres. They found themselves captivated by the progressive rock sounds of the ’70s, finding inspiration in the works of bands such as Camel, PFM, Pink Floyd, and Jethro Tull. Rolf Zero released over 8 albums in their career. 2025 arrived, a year in the making, Rolf Zero presents their latest work, “Poseidon”. This instrumental progressive rock album follows into darker, more ethereal sonic territories than ever before. Blending synth textures and vintage organs with distorted guitars, Poseidon creates a mystical atmosphere that evokes the ancient Greek mythology of its namesake. The San Juan, Argentina-based duo Onirico has released their amazing debut album “Between Dreams and Beliefs”. This work is the band’s long-awaited debut album. Formed by Benjamín Hernández – lead and backing vocals, bass, keyboards, drum programming, and Jorge Ostos – electric and acoustic guitars, 12-string acoustic guitar, drum programming, additional keyboards, including some guests as Luis Querales – bassoon on The Beginning and Falling Asleep and Wassim Rahmani – lead and acoustic guitars on Ex-nihilo. Between Dreams and Beliefs was Entirely produced by its members, this record follows a cohesive thematic line. Through its songs, a man navigates different stages of his life, exploring dreams and beliefs, and facing internal struggles and existential questions, until he reaches a state of redemption and contemplation. Together with the main tracks, the album features the previous two Bonus tracks released singles “Ex-nihilo” and “House of Mirrors.” “Between Dreams and Beliefs” was released on December 19, 2024, under Mylodon Records. Red Lloyd comes from Germany, a multi-instrumentalist. He’s been playing rock music in a live band for ages writing his music at the same time, but never had the opportunity to record it. But, the moment has come to get back into the studio and do what has been waiting for years: lay down the ideas, find fellow musicians and record. Lloyd is deep into progressive rock, especially Pink Floyd and Genesis, and when he started recording, Lloyd found that the tracks became cinematic more and more. Some ideas date back to the early 80s. In early 2020 Lloyd re-discovered the old recordings and decided to revive them with modern equipment. Based on ideas that date back to the early 80s, Red Lloyd decided to take the challenge and record a more symphonic song-oriented prog rock album. He focused on instruments and effects that Genesis used during that era and created some wonderfully melodic tracks. Then, reuniting these ideas, Red Lloyd released their amazing concept album “The Duke”.
